The brothers Siegbert and Andreas Lapp foundet LAPP Kabel AG in 1989

LAPP Tec AG was founded by the two brothers Siegbert and Andreas Lapp on 28th June 1989 in Schaffhausen as LAPP Kabel AG. The labour market with well-qualified specialists, the large number of well-known injection moulding toolmakers in the region and the good conditions for founding companies were the decisive reasons for the decision to found the company in Switzerland as an injection moulding factory of the German LAPP Group.

With the relocation to Diessenhofen in the year 1998 the production could be continuously expanded. Today over 200 million plastic parts are produced and about 1,000 tons of plastic granules are processed.
